Alhatra Wastes is a figure-8 circuit running through the desert surrounding a malfunctioning power station. Spectacular electrical arcs near the track interfere with vehicle electronics, and certain objects can be struck with Scorpion missiles to trigger blinding flashes. Races on Alhatra take place at night. Its rough terrain demands a good balance of handling and speed, and a relatively open layout leaves many opportunities to outmanoeuvre opponents.

Alhatra Wastes has a reverse variant, on which races take place during the day. Dust hanging in the air gives sunlight an orange hue, creating a very different ambience from races on the forwards variant. Its characteristics change little when driven in reverse, and it remains a track that rewards balanced performance.
